A Flicker of an Idea
Dear Readers, Supporters, and Fellow Dreamers,
I write to you today with a heart full of gratitude and pride, as well as a deep sense of anticipation for what lies ahead. Over nine years ago, "Act of Treason" began as a flicker of an idea—a spark born out of a love for storytelling, intricate worlds, and characters that linger in the imagination. What started as a modest concept has grown into something far greater than I ever envisioned.
"Act of Treason" is no longer just a story—it has become a world of its own, brimming with life, history, and complexity. Over these years, dozens of advancements have been made in the art of world-building. I’ve sketched maps of faraway lands, charted the rise and fall of empires, and constructed family trees that stretch across centuries. Every detail, no matter how small, has been lovingly crafted to enrich the world and make it feel as vivid and real as the one we live in.
What began as a vision for a dark fantasy novel has expanded in scope to a project that now spans over 900 pages. Yes, 900 pages—each filled with twists, alliances, betrayals, and characters whose lives are as complex and flawed as the world they inhabit. This book has become a monumental effort, demanding every ounce of creativity, dedication, and patience I can give. The scale of the story, the weight of its themes, and the ambition behind it have only grown as the years have passed.
While "Act of Treason" still does not have a planned release window, I want to assure you that it is on its steady way forward. Progress continues, piece by piece, as I shape this story into the best version of itself. This is not a journey to be rushed; it is one that requires care, passion, and time to fully realize the potential I know it holds.
To those of you who have followed me on this journey, who have asked about the book, and who have supported my other literary works along the way—thank you. Your unwavering belief in me and this project has been a source of inspiration on the days when progress felt slow and the path ahead seemed uncertain. Your encouragement reminds me why I fell in love with storytelling in the first place: because stories have the power to connect us, to challenge us, and to transport us to worlds beyond our own.
I am proud of what "Act of Treason" has become so far, and I am hopeful for what the future holds for this story. Though the journey is far from over, I know it is one worth taking. For those who continue to walk this path with me, your support means everything. Together, we will see this tale unfold, and I hope that when the time comes, it will be worth every moment of the wait.
Thank you for your patience, your belief, and your love for the written word. Here’s to the road ahead.
With gratitude and hope,
Stipe Lozina
